Conditions of participation
Participation in the Rothaarsteigverein e.V. competition, hereinafter referred to as the operator or organizer, is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these conditions of participation.
Procedure of the competition
The duration of the competition is from 14.02.23, 12:00 noon to 17.0223, 12:00 noon. During this period, users will have the opportunity to take part in the competition online.
Participation
To take part in the competition, a comment or reply to the Facebook post or Instagram story published on 14.02.23 at 12:00 noon is required. Participation is only possible within the participation period. Comments or replies received after the closing date will not be considered in the draw.
Only one submitted entry per participant will be entered into the competition. It is prohibited to use multiple Facebook or Instagram profiles to increase the chances of winning.
Participation in the competition is free of charge.
Eligible participants
Natural persons who are resident in the European Union and have reached the age of 14 are eligible to participate. Participation is not restricted to customers of the organizer and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.
If participants are restricted in their legal capacity, the consent of a legal representative is required.
All persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition and employees of the operator and their family members are not eligible to participate in the competition. In addition, the operator reserves the right to exclude persons from participation at its own discretion if there are justified reasons, for example
(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or execution of the competition, (b) in the event of breaches of these conditions of participation, (c) in the event of unfair conduct or (d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.
Prize, notification and transmission of the prize

The winners will be determined on 22.02.23 as part of a random draw among all participants who have left a comment under the Facebook post or sent a reply to the Instagram story. If the competition is linked to a task, only those participants who have completed the task correctly will be entered into the prize draw.
The winners of the Facebook prize draw will be informed of their prize on 22.02.23 via a personal message on Facebook and the winners of the Instagram prize draw will be informed of their prize on 22.02.23 via a personal message on Instagram
The prize will only be handed over to the winner or to the legal representative of the underage winner. It is not possible to exchange, collect or pay out the prize in cash.
Any costs incurred for shipping the prize will be borne by the operator. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize shall be borne by the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize.
If the winner does not respond after two requests within a period of 3 weeks, the prize may be transferred to another participant.
Termination of the competition
The organizer expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the competition from running as planned.
Data protection
In order to participate in the competition, personal data must be provided after the winner has been drawn. The participant assures that the personal details provided, in particular first name, surname and email address, are true and correct.
The organizer points out that all personal data of the participants will neither be passed on to third parties nor made available to them for use without consent. An exception to this is the company Rosenbogen Heidrich, Gaugreben'scher Weg 1, 59939 Olsberg-Bruchhausen, which is involved in the prize, which will send the voucher worth 20.00 euros, the voucher for admission for two people to the Sauerland flower garden and the Rothaarsteig rose "Weg der Sinne".

Applicable law

The operator's competition is subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.
Severability clause
Should any provision of these conditions of participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these conditions of participation. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that comes as close as possible to the economic meaning and purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these conditions of participation.
